Rakesh K. Goyal, M.D.
Dr. Rakesh K. Goyal is a leading ketamine specialist in Long Island with over 18 years of experience in internal medicine and mental health illnesses. He has performed numerous ketamine infusions with over 80% success in his patients who have lost hope and struggled from severe treatment resistant depression, suicidal ideations, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, migraine headaches, Parkinson's disease, anorexia nervosa, alcohol replapse and chronic pain syndrome. He has spent majority of his career working in acute care setting at a well-recognized tertiary care hospital in Virginia. Dr. Goyal has enjoyed working with multidisciplinary specialties including but not limited to psychiatry, palliative care, cardiology, general medicine and surgery.
During his leisure time Dr. Goyal enjoys spending time with his wife and children traveling and sight seeing. Dr. Goyal holds active medical license within the state of New York. He is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM).
After graduating with honors, Dr. Goyal completed his residency in 2007 from Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan with excellence in clinical research during his residency. As a hospitalist working in an acute care setting, he values the importance of high quality patient care. He has honed unmatched skills in ketamine administration co-managing patients in the ICU, CCU as well as patients with acute suicidal ideations, severe refractory depression and chronic pain syndrome. Currently he is affiliated with Northwell Health. He is also serving as an assistant professor of medicine in Hofstra University.
During his leisure time Dr. Goyal enjoys spending time with his wife and children traveling and sight seeing. Dr. Goyal holds active medical license within the state of New York. He is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM).
Payal Srivastava, RN, BSN
Payal Srivastava has been a registered nurse for over 6 years. Payal received her bachelor’s of science in nursing from Shenandoah University. She has experience working in areas such as medical surgical, acute rehabilitation and IV infusion therapy. Payal has been caring for patients undergoing ketamine therapy treatment for over 4 years now. She is dedicated to her work and promotes a positive environment for her patients focusing on health and wellness. During her leisure time, Payal loves spending time outdoors with her two children and husband. Payal is currently pursuing her masters of science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner.
